Glacier Basin Campground
Lodging Type: In-Park Campground
Price Tier: $
Also within the busy Bear Lake corridor, Glacier Basin offers many of the same shuttle-access advantages as Moraine Park with a slightly different setting, nestled closer to Longs Peak and the Glacier Gorge trailheads. Sites offer flush toilets and potable water, no hookups, and this campground is tent-and-small-RV focused, with the park’s free shuttle system making car-free days entirely possible once you’re set up. Given how central this campground sits to some of the park’s most popular hiking, expect real competition for reservations during peak summer season — book as far in advance as your dates allow.
