Near the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone and its two dramatic waterfalls, Canyon Campground puts you within a short drive of some of the most photographed scenery in the entire park. Sites offer flush toilets, potable water, and coin-op showers through the nearby village, a real amenities upgrade over some of the park’s more basic campgrounds. Its central location makes it a strong base for reaching Hayden Valley’s wildlife viewing, Artist Point, and the Upper and Lower Falls without long drives each day. Given the popularity of the canyon area, this campground is consistently one of the harder Yellowstone sites to book — reserve well in advance.
