Sunset Campground
A short walk from North Campground and just as close to the rim, Sunset Campground offers largely the same convenience with a slightly quieter, more spread-out feel — a good second option if North Campground’s dates are already booked. Sites include both tent and RV spots with nearby flush toilets, and like its neighbor, no hookups. Its proximity to Sunset Point and the Navajo Loop Trailhead makes it just as strong a base for early-morning hoodoo views without needing to drive anywhere first. Typically open seasonally (spring through fall, weather dependent), with some sites reservable in advance and others first-come, first-served — worth checking current availability windows before you plan around it, since Bryce’s high elevation means the camping season is genuinely shorter here than at lower-elevation parks.
