Kalaloch Campground
Perched on a bluff above the Pacific, Kalaloch is Olympic’s most popular coastal campground, with several sites offering genuine ocean views and easy access to the beach below. Sites offer flush toilets and potable water, no hookups, and the campground puts you within walking distance of the Kalaloch Nature Trail and the famous ‘Tree of Life,’ an iconic cedar tree suspended over an eroded bluff by its own roots. Given the wild Pacific coastline setting, sunsets here are genuinely spectacular, and the campground’s popularity means reservations are essential well in advance during summer months, when this becomes one of the hardest sites in the entire park to book.
