A small, tent-only campground right on the shore of Jenny Lake, this is genuinely one of the most scenic and sought-after campsites in the entire National Park System — waking up steps from the lake with the Tetons rising directly overhead. Sites are compact and RV-restricted, with vault toilets and potable water nearby, and given the tiny number of sites relative to demand, this campground is famous for filling within minutes of reservations opening. Its location puts you right at the start of the Hidden Falls, Inspiration Point, and Cascade Canyon trails, meaning an early start on the park’s best hikes without any drive at all. If you can secure a reservation here, it’s genuinely worth the effort — but have a backup campground in mind, since availability is extremely limited.
