The Needles Visitor Center sits just inside the park on Utah Route 211, the long road that ends in the remote Needles District, far from the crowds near Moab. Inside you will find exhibits, ranger information, and a bookstore, and it is the place to ask about trail conditions for the area’s backcountry routes before you leave pavement behind. The center is open seasonally, running from early spring into late fall, but the water and restrooms outside stay available year-round. Services are scarce out here, so use this stop to confirm conditions, refill water, and double-check your plans before heading toward Squaw Flat and the Chesler Park trails.
