Overview:
The Lehman Caves Visitor Center is inside the park at the end of the main entrance road, about 5.5 miles from Baker, and it is where all the cave tours begin. A staffed information desk, an exhibit hall, the park film, and a park store are inside, along with the Great Basin Cafe and a gift shop. Exhibits cover caves and the park’s dark night skies, with displays that explain the different kinds of darkness found here, which makes it a good stop for kids. Cave tour tickets are sold here, and most ranger programs are offered from this building. If you want a cave tour in busy season, ask about reserving ahead.
