Overview:
A long but gently graded hike through wildflower meadows to a dramatic glacially-fed lake ringed by cliffs, often still holding chunks of floating ice well into summer. Firsthand-verified by Gretchen, a great alternative when Grinnell Glacier is closed for bear activity.
