The Guy Bradley Visitor Center in Flamingo is the southernmost visitor center in Everglades National Park, at the end of the main park road about 45 minutes from the Coe Visitor Center. It is named for the Everglades’ first game warden and has new museum exhibits with print, audio, and tactile displays, and audio description devices are available on request. Flamingo sits on Florida Bay, so this is a good place to ask rangers about boat tours, paddling, and wildlife such as crocodiles and manatees, and to get oriented before you hike the nearby Guy Bradley Trail. Plan for a long drive, since there is little between the main entrance and Flamingo.
