Mesa Top Loop Road offers an easy, self-guided drive with overlooks into several other dwellings without needing a ticketed tour.

The park's museum, near the main visitor center, adds real context on Ancestral Puebloan history and culture that makes the dwellings themselves more meaningful once you've seen them.
