Pinnacles Campground
The only campground in Pinnacles National Park, this sits on the east side near the visitor center, and offers genuinely more amenities than most park campgrounds — including an outdoor pool (seasonal), a small store, and both tent and RV sites, some with electrical hookups. Its location makes it the natural base for the High Peaks Trail and Bear Gulch Cave, both accessible without a long drive. Given the park’s east and west entrances aren’t connected by any road inside Pinnacles, staying here commits you to exploring the east side unless you’re willing to drive a couple of hours around to reach the west entrance — worth planning your route before you book. Summer temperatures here run hot, so spring and fall are genuinely the more comfortable camping seasons.
